It throws an exception TypeError if iterable contains any non-string value.

Syntax

The syntax of join function in Python is:-

string.join(iterable)

str1 = ' ' 
a = ['Programming', 'Funda']
result = str1.join(a)
print(result)

Output will be:- Programming Funda

Example 2:

str1 = ':' 
a = ['p','r','o','g','r','a','m','m','i','n','g']
result = str1.join(a)
print(result)

Output will be:- p:r:o:g:r:a:m:m:i:n:g

Example 3:

string = "-"
mystr = ("Programming", "Funda", "is", "the", "best")
result = string.join(mystr)
print(result)

Output will be:- Programming-Funda-is-the-best
